We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2023, at the age of 92, Mary Lois Herring of Harrells, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rommie Melvin and Lougannie Owens Melvin; her husband William Junior Herring; and her son Dwight Herring. She is survived by: her sons, Caldon Ray Herring (Katie) of Harrells, Barney Lee Herring of Harrells and Larry J. Herring (Dorothy) of Roseboro; and her brother-in-law Laro Sidney Herring. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren.
