We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021, at the age of 93, Mable Strickland of Harrells, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mable Strickland to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Challie and Vera Giddeons Peterson; her spouse Lacy Strickland of Washington; her children, Lester Strickland and Karen Strickland; and her grandson Donald Earl Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Anita S. Baldwin of Harrells, Lacy Milton Strickland (Peggy) of Watha, Donald Ray Strickland (Judy) of Dunn and John Strickland (Dana) of Clinton; and her sisters, Betty Dale of Wallace, Avis Powell of Watha and Annette Murray of Harrells. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 407 Tomahawk Dr. Harrells, NC. 28444.
