With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Kay Rivenbark of Harrells, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Sherwood Batson and Virginia Walker Batson; and her daughter Tammy Maynor. She is survived by: her children-daughters, Jan Willoughby Richardson (Brian) and Cindy Newkirk (Desi); her son Jay Willoughby (Sharon); her grandchildren, Brandon Ward, Joey Horne (Kadejah), Krystal Gurganious, Samantha Gurganious, Craven Blansett (Jessica), Cooper Blansett Davis, Brison Richardson and Gage Richardson; and her siblings, Debbie Garriss (Allen), Sherwood Batson and Jerry Batson (Penny). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
