He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberson Cannady and Annie Jane Holland Cannady; and his wife Peggy Cox Cannady. He is survived by: his children, Robin Little (Robert) of Clayton, Wayne Cannady (Dee) of Harrells, Alan Cannady (Eleanor) of Newton Grove and Pamela Engle (Mark) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Michael Little (Kallie), David Little (Sara), Anna Caitlin Paylor (Steven), Christopher Cannady (Danielle) and Chelsea Thrift; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Ellie Claire Paylor; and his brother Kenneth Neal Canady of Winter Park. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
