She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Herring and Pearl E. Williams Herring; her husband Preston Autry; and her siblings, Mary Pridgen, Rudolph Herring and Allie Lee Herring.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Autry, Shellia Scott, Antionette Beatty (David), Glynda Robinson (Julius), Linda Hall (Dwight), Beatrice Autry, Sharon Thomas (Andrew) and Teresa Autry (Warren); her foster daughters, Linda Newman (William) and Loretta Crumpler; her siblings, Billy C. Herring (Anne), Gerald Herring (Margaret), William "Bill" Herring (Lisa) and Lydia Kerr; and her siblings-in-law, Oscar Autry (Delma) and Barbara Autry. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
