She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Peterson and Mary Lou Potts Peterson; and her son David Patrick Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Ray Franklin Nichols II; her son Adam Lars Nichols (Heather Lee) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Ava Larain, Ayla Nichols and Julie Nichols; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Alivia and Noah; her siblings, Craig Peterson (Amy) of Clinton, Sharon Lucier of Clinton and Christie Wise of Roseboro; and her sister-in-law Kathy Walker (Rusty) of Topsail Island.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel (401 W Main St, Wallace, NC 28466). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Padgett Funeral Home (401 W Main St, Wallace, NC 28466).
