He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Murray and Lila Strickland Murray. He is survived by: his wife Annette Peterson; his children, Barbara Beach of Madera, Lori Beth Fuller (Arnold) of Harrells, NC, Sheila Zahran (Jay) of Leland, NC, Tom Murray (Alan) of Portland and James Barber (Janet) of Harrells, NC; and his siblings, Jesse Murray of Goldsboro, Rosa Lamm (Carl) of Mt. Olive and Margaret Tyndall of Mt. Olive. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome or memorials can be directed to Centenary Methodist Church, Emmaus Baptist Church or to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
