He is survived by: his wife Brenda Miller Parker; his daughter Denise Gillespie (Todd) of Harmony, NC.; his sisters, Peggy Morrison (Tyrone) of Statesville, Maggie Alexander (Ted) of Statesville and Kathy Grimes of Statesville; his granddaughter Iesha Gillespie (Lamar) of Harmony, NC; his great grandchild Lawson Gillespie of Harmony, NC.; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Gordie Jr. of Statesville, NC and Kizler Kinney Heaggans of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and special friends.
