He is survived by: his wife Denise Hamlin; his children, Ronnie Porter of High Point, Bronna Davis of Greensboro and Shonda Davis; his grandchildren, Eric, Maurice, Kennedy, William, Aaron and Jiyah; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Joi and Janiyah; his cousin Ida LeGrande; and his close friend Jack Simmons. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
