He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean D. Dalton and Sceva Templeton Dalton; his brother Danny Dalton; and his half-brothers, Gene M. Barron and Don D. Dalton.
He is survived by: his sister Kay Padgett; his half-sister Mary Ruth Walton; his nephews, Jason Padgett (Felicia) and Craig Padgett (Amy); and his niece Sceva Whipkey (Francis).
