She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Tabon (Stacy), Linda Nelson (James), Beverly Gainey (Bobby) and Cathey Gainey; her siblings, Izora Peguese and Robert Little; her grandchildren, Demetrius, Bronson, Naketa, Sapperia, Tamez Gainey, Bianica and Chasity Nelson; her close friend Anthony Fields; and her nieces, Tina Breeze and Evelyn McConnel.
