He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pennell and Tressie Teague Pennell; and his brother Billy Pennell. He is survived by: his wife Tyra Hatcher Pennell; his children, Cory Pennell (Leah) and Carla Williams; his grandchildren, Kayla Oldenkamp, Tyler Wooten, Addison Pennell, Travis Church and Tate Pennell; his great grandchildren, Wells Lee Oldenkamp and Wally Drew Oldenkamp; and his brother Danny Pennell (Carolyn).
