He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack McClelland and Ila Lorraine Motes Wagner; his daughter Michelle Lynn Barker; and his siblings, Darlen Livengood and Joel McClelland Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Lynn Newman Wagner; his children, Tara Wagner of Mocksville and Thara Wagner of Harmony; his stepson James Pennington of Salisbury; and his sister Cheryl Stanley of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
