He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Eugene Lockman, Sr. and Edith Lorene Lackey-Lockman; his son Ned Eugene Lockman III; and his stepson Jerry Evans Beard, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Beard-Lockman; his children, Jeromy Lockman (Misty) of Harmony, Carrie Clark of Harmony, Amanda Mazzola (Davide) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Benjamin Lockman (Hilary) of Statesville and Brian Lockman of Statesville; his stepsons, Christopher Beard of Lincolnton, NC and Donald Yeaton (Bonnie) of Roxboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Christopher Lockman, Natalie Mazzola, Ally Capeheart (Casey), Chloe Lockman, Anthony Mazzola, Jake and Josh Clark; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney, Hailey, Charity Beard, Tommy and Desiree Brady; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava, Lucas, Bristol, Micah, Zachary and Zelda; his sisters, Peggy Sprinkle of Troutman, NC and Brenda Hutcherson (Steve) of Hendersonville, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Nathan Sprinkle of Cooleemee, NC, Matthew Hutcherson of Kenya, Tracy Poole of Troutman and Stephanie Orr of Hendersonville.
