It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona Lou Shaver of Harmony, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Brown and Rose Huie Brown; her husband Atwell Reese "Buck" Shaver; her son Larry Dean "Mickey" Shaver; and her siblings, Mable Gryder, Bobby Brown and Charles Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Handy (Frank) of Harmony; her grandson Tracy Handy; and her brother Huie Brown of Biloxi, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
