She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Moore and Anna Bell Speaks Moore; her husband John B. Smith; her son-in-law Billy Johnson; and her siblings, William, Leonard Moore and Thelma Haneline.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith of Harmony, Sharon Johnson, Wilkesboro, Elaine Hughes (Buddy) of Lexington, Joan Smith of Harmony and Tim Smith of Salisbury; and her grandchildren, Matt Johnson, Marcia Johnson and Holli Humphrey. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Clarksbury UMC Cemetery Fund or Gordon Hospice House.
