He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Monroe "Tip" Knox and Pearlie Smith Knox; his wife Tamara Yvonne Knox; and his son Lloyd Darrel Knox. He is survived by: his children, Tip Knox (Tammy) and Tana Nation. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
