It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonne Dobson Gatton (Harmony, North Carolina), born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Joey Dean Gatton; and her brothers, Larry Eugene Dobson, James Lee Dobson and Hal Franklin Dobson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Perry Gatton (Sandra) of Statesville and Lori Underwood of Statesville; her brother Wayne Dobson of Union Grove; and her grandson Ryan Underwood.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harmony Baptist Church for the Life Center in Lavonne's memory.
