He was predeceased by: his parents, William Francis and Thelma Alexander Campbell of Harmony, NC.; and his siblings, Robert Campbell, Elmer Campbell and Kathleen C. Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Elna J. Campbell; his sons, Kevin Campbell (Teresa) of Statesville and Scotty Campbell of Statesville; his grandchildren, Amanda C. Johnson (Matthew) of Statesville, Kristin C. Cole (Jared) of Statesville, Madee Campbell of Statesville and Travis Campbell (Jessica) of Raleigh, NC.; his great grandchildren, Karlee, Adalyn, Kamryn Cole, Campbell Grace, Mattox, Myles Johnson, Harper and Avery Campbell; and his brothers, Dalton Campbell of Statesville and Melvin Campbell of Harmony, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
