He was predeceased by: his parents, Clennon Joseph Lewis and Margie Campbell Lewis; and his brother Gary Joseph Lewis. He is survived by: his brother Rick A. Lewis (Margaret); his niece Bridgett L. Lippard (Danny); his nephews, Colby Allen Lewis (Ginny), Tyler Jordan Lewis (Ali) and Wesley Lewis; his great-nephews, Cole Lippard, Dillon Lewis, Nash Lewis, Teague Lewis and Truett Lewis; and his great-niece Emma Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House at 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
