He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayford Mayberry and Jessie Thomas Mayberry; and his siblings, Rebecca Mayberry and Ralph Mayberry. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Reavis Mayberry; his daughter Ginger Graves (Tyson); his grandson Zachary Graves (Rachel); and his great grandchild Owen Graves.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Children's Home at 204 Idol St., Thomasville 27360, and Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 355 W. Houstonville Rd., Harmony, NC 28634.
