He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie C. Absher and Mary Maxine Taylor Absher; and his stepmother Alice Church Absher. He is survived by: his siblings, Joey Absher (Dawn) and Regina Brennan (Chris); and his niece Mary.

The family asks that donations be sent to assist with funeral arrangements to Regina Brennan, 13212 Kennerly Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
