Helen Sloan York Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Sloan York (Harmony, North Carolina), born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Sloan and Edith Warlick Sloan of Statesville; and her sisters, Gail Sloan and Anita Sloan. She is survived by: her husband Bill York of Harmony; her daughters, Dare York of Harmony and Emily York Salter (Benji Salter) of Weaverville; her grandchildren, Avery, Lila and Bennett; her brother Andy Sloan; and her friend Amelia Cates.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iredell County Hospice.
