He was predeceased by: his parents, William Attley Brown and Sina Mae Tutterow Brown; his wife Wilma Mae Johnson Brown; and his siblings, Harold Brown, Lottie Renegar, Lola Wooten and Mandie Spann.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Brown of Harmony, Dennis Brown of Statesville, Wayne Brown (Lisa) of Harmony, Jessie McDaniel (Michael) of Mocksville and Tracie Waugh of Statesville; and his brother Kuley Brown (Karen) of Harmony. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
