He is survived by: his wife Doris Tharpe Parsons; his children, Tony Parsons (Angela) of Mocksville and Sheila Cooper (David) of Spindale, NC.; and his siblings, Mack Parsons of North Wilkesboro and Fern Hutchins (Albert) of Statesville.
