He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion Bell, Sr. and Mary Lou Tucker Bell; his daughter Melinda Annette Bell; and his sister Joan Bell Holland. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Bell (Amy) of Statesville and Wesley Bell (Beth) of Sherrill's Ford; his grandchildren, Preston of Statesville, Faith Bell of Statesville, Addison of Sherrill's Ford and Katelyn Bell of Sherrill's Ford; and his brothers, Marion Bell, Jr (Brenda) of Statesville and Terry Bell of Statesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
