She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Cooper and Ruby Martin Cooper; her husband William C. Nichols; her siblings, Frederick Cooper, James Cooper, Frank Cooper, Steven Cooper, Emma Smith, Barbara Russell and Loretta Avent; and her great grandchildren, Cyrus Reaves and Omega Sharpe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shanlyn Nichols, Twanna Nichols and Tanya N. Redmon (Miriam); her brother Donald Cooper; and her sister-in-law Lillie Boswell (Jerome). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
