He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Steele Holmes; and his children, Billy Ralph Holmes, Jr. (Tonitia) of Hickory, Nartarshia Walker (Louis) of Hickory and Kitiara Hurt (Steven) of Harmony. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
