He was predeceased by: his parent Burl Samuel Gaither; and his sisters, Peggy Gaither Sloan, Virginia Gaither Hinson and Betty Gaither Wallace. He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Tomlinson Gaither; his wife Margaret Lowe Gaither; his sons, Marty Gaither (Patricia) of Harmony, Scotty Gaither (Paige) of Harmony and Eddie Gaither (Brooke) of Harmony; his grandchildren, Alivia Gaither, Caden Gaither, Cole Saunders, Bailey Saunders, Daniel Gaither and Megyn Payge Gaither; and his brother-in-law Hubert Hinson.
