He was predeceased by: his sons, Gary and Alex; and his siblings, Joseph Huff and Christine Brooks. He is survived by: his siblings, Ella Jacobs Huff and Willie Huff; his wife Joyce; his children, Paul Michael (Janie) of Springfield, MA., William "Bo" (Cheryl) of Denver, CA, Mary Huff of Springfield and Joyce Jamison (Ronnie) of Springfield; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Brooks, William Payne Jr. and Doris Howze. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
