She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Big Jim" Chadwick. She is survived by: her daughter Nila Lewis (Robbie) of Newport; her granddaughter Shanda Hartman (Rick) of Edenton; her great grandchildren, Caselyn Griswold and Kayne Ronning; and her uncle Tenny Willis of Harkers Island.
