He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Grant and Essie Grant; and his son-in-law Larry Hunter Spence. He is survived by: his wife Margaret G.; his granddaughter Terri G. Spence of Harkers Island; his sons, Stephen E. Grant (B. G. Davis) of Harkers Island and Roy R. Grant III (Debbie Dudar Grant) of Hampstead, MD; his brother Eric B. Grant (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Amy Manners (Bob), David H. Spence (Hannah), Kaylea E. Manners, Reagan Spence and Grant Spence.
