It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Makley Lewis (Harkers Island, North Carolina), who passed away on November 14, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis; his wife Florence Lewis; his daughter Lizzie Lawrence; and his siblings, Lela Mae Willis, Bethany Bryant, Christine Rose and Daniel Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Yeomans (Terry) of Harkers Island; his son-in-law Tommy Lawrence (Karen) of Harkers Island; his brothers, Oliver Lewis (Elaine) of Harkers Island and Mitchell Lewis (Melinda) of Harkers Island; his siblings-in-law, Collo Brooks (Red) of Harkers Island, Linda Rose of Harkers Island and Willie Rose of Otway; his grandchildren, Thomas Lawrence, Jr. (Mattie) and Makley Lawrence (Angelia); and his great grandchildren, Gunnar Lawrence and Ivey Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
