With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynell Scott Davis of Harkers Island, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Terrell R. Scott and Lurena Hancock Scott; her husband Samuel Davis; her siblings, Nola Dare Scott and Milton Scott; her sister-in-law Edna Earl Brooks Scott; her daughter Lilly Lurane Davis Yeomans; her daughter-in-law Anita Warren Davis; her grandsons, Justin Michael Davis and William Terry Gaskill (June Sammons Gaskill); her niece Priscilla Rose Lewis; and her nephew Teddy Scott.
She is survived by: her son Sammy Ray Davis of Gulf Port, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Gina Raquel Blackwood (Sam), Samantha Rae Davis Ellis (Ben), Elizabeth Jordan Yeomans (Angel) and Kourtney Alyson Davis; her great grandchild Kaili Johnell Leggatt; her niece Nettie Lou Styron; and her nephews, Milton Eddie Scott and Charlie Scott.
