We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2021, at the age of 86, Linda Nelson Rose of Harkers Island, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bradford Nelson and Beulah Nelson; her husband Halsie Paul Rose; and her siblings, Esther Rose, Rudolph Nelson, Roma Chadwick, Sherman Nelson, Otis Nelson, George Nelson, Jean Carroll Nelson and Thurman Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lana Rose of Havelock and Tina Long of Harkers Island; her siblings, Carolyn Lawrence of Harkers Island, Stella Guthrie (Marvin) of Beaufort, Bradford Nelson Jr. of Morehead City, Anthony Nelson Sr. (Louella) of Harkers Island and Willis Carol Nelson Sr. (Karen) of Harkers Island; her granddaughters, Angie Hill (Chris) of Westfield, NC, Lana Gray Garcell (Gaddy) of Havelock and Scarlett Ward (Tom) of Harkers Island; her great grandchildren, Kyrsten Hale, Jonathan Chase and Gage Willis; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Alicia Garcell and Calvin Ward; her great great grandchildren, Alexa Hale, Breeana Hale and Charlotte Hale; and her grandchild Adiela Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
