He was predeceased by: his wife Novella Yeomans; his son Rodney Yeomans; his parents, Martin Yeomans and Emma Yeomans; and his siblings, Lois Hill, Emma Lee Yeomans, Reva Willis and Luther Carroll Yeomans.

He is survived by: his son Leland W. Yeomans (Andrea) of Harkers Island; his grandchild Mardell Y. Mitchell (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Tucker Mitchell and Kaci Mitchell. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
