He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Nelson of Straits; his wife Emily; his children, Eden, Grant (Makayla), Jacob and Olivia; his siblings, Shawn (Leigh) of Smyrna, Danielle Pace (Brooks) of Morehead City and Rachel Frivance (Jason) of Harkers Island; his in-laws, Joel, Susan Hancock of Harkers Island, Joella, James Morris of Straits, Alyson, Kyle Dart of Spanish Fork, UT, Leah, Rodney Steelman of Rolesville, NC, Lauren Hancock of Smyrna, Mike and Camille Hancock of Beaufort; and his nieces and nephews, Nyah Nelson, Ben, Luke, Owen, William Pace, Isabelle, Jackson, Matthew Frivance, Jacy, Riley, Zoey, Charlie Morris, Zac, Will, Sam Dart, Brady, Carter Steelman, Calvin, Oliver, Levi, Evan Hancock, Gardner and Charlie Hancock.
