He was predeceased by: his father Larry Nelson Sr.; and his grandparents, Louis, Janice Yeomans and Thomas. He is survived by: his sons, Jordan Nelson of Havelock and Brantly James Nelson of Vanceboro; his fiancé Skylar Crawford of Newport; his mother Netha Nelson of Vanceboro; his siblings, Tanya Gray (Michael) of Williston and Larry Nelson Jr. (Jennifer) of Otway; his uncle Yeomans of Harkers Island; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Buddy, Alyssa, Aleyah, Hailee, Saveyah, Noah and Colton; and his cousins, Remington, Gunner and Shellby.
