We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2021, at the age of 83, Joan Gaskill Gillikin of Harkers Island, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billie Gillikin; her siblings, Eva Carawan, William Howard W. Gaskill and Stephen Gaskill; and her nephew David "Buddy" Gaskill.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Patsy Gaskill of Harkers Island; and her nieces and nephews, Anmarie Gaskill of Harkers Island, Stephanie Sanders (Greg) of Harkers Island, Phillip Carawan of Morehead City, Janeen Russell of Morehead City, Angela Varner (Danny) of Morehead City, Evonne Carawan of Morehead City and Terry Gaskill of Newport.
