He is survived by: his wife Pearl Lewis of Harkers Island, NC; his son James Lewis Jr. (Michelle) of Harkers Island, NC; his grandson Dereck Lewis (Kaitlyn) of Williston, NC; his brother Houston Lewis (Terry) of Harkers Island, NC; his nieces, Mary Lewis Scarbraugh (Anthony) of Washington, NC, Nora Lewis Lawrence (Corey) of Smyrna, NC and Elizabeth Lewis of Harkers Island, NC; his great-nieces, Kristen Styron of Smyrna, NC, Emma Styron of Smyrna, NC and Ilyse Styron of Smyrna, NC; his nephew John Robinson (Wendy) of Stacy, NC; his niece Serina Kannan (Patrick "Pizza") of Morehead City, NC; his great-nieces, Emilee Graham (Austin) of Mill Creek, NC and Ashlyn Robinson (Larry Leal) of Stacy, NC; and also Lee Pittard. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
