He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rose and Sudie Rose; his siblings, Myrtle Yeomans, Reva Pearl Nelson, Vienna Fulcher, Paulene Jones, Lourena Salter, Norma Lee Nelson, Mervin Rose and Tommy Gray Rose; his daughter Traudi Meinecke; and his son-in-law Uwe Meinecke.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Lewis Rose of Harkers Island; his children, Trudy Rose (Wink) of Harkers Island, Cathy Gillikin (Tim) of Harkers Island, Ricky Rose (Shanra) of Harkers Island, Glenn Rose (Barbara) of Gloucester, Terry Rose (Tina) of Beaufort, Ryan Rose (Michelle) of Beaufort and Timothy Rose of Harkers Island; and his grandchildren, Sharicka Price, Catressa Penland, Christy Moore, Mark Rose, Randy Rose, Paul Gillikin, Dana Gillikin, Chuck Rose, Joshua Rose, Makila Rose, Michael Rose, Mason Rose, Dylan Rose, Audrianna Rose, Frank Meinecke and Jörg Meinecke. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
