He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher "Pete" and Margaret Hargett. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Hargett; his stepsons, Charles Howard of Los Angeles, CA and John Marshall Howard of Winterville, NC; and his brothers, Ernie Hargett (Cathy) of Wilmington, Chris Hargett (Sheila) of Raleigh, Peter Hargett (Beth) of Harkers Island and Joel Hargett of Zebulon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
