He was predeceased by: his parents, Guion Lewis and Nellie Lewis; his sister-in-law Susan Lewis; and his pet Muffin. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Lewis Gillikin (Howard Paul) of Otway, Scarlett Lewis Ward (Tom) of Harkers Island and Mark Lewis (Ashley) of Gloucester; his brothers, Danny Lewis of Harkers Island, Dick Lewis (Charlotte) of Morehead City and Ronnie Paul Lewis of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Megan, Katlyn, Gage, Jacob and Walker Dean; his stepgrandson Calvin; his great grandchild Grace; his nieces, Shell, Dani Jo and Allison; and his nephew Corey.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
