It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Willett Davis of Harkers Island, North Carolina, born in Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Willett and Lila Willett; her husband Elbert Lee Davis, Sr.; and her siblings, Albert Willett, Billy Willett, Deloras Willett and Ann Weems.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Davis Parker (Charles "Bud" Parker) of New Bern and Elbert Lee Davis, Jr. (Paula Grady Davis) of Harkers Island, NC; her siblings, Natalie W. Johnson of Harkers Island, Jean W. Elson of Bridgeton, Linda Holland (Larry) of Tarboro and Mickey Willis (Peggy) of New Bern; her grandchildren, Christopher Reed Willis (Lisa), Jacob Brent Davis (Elizabeth) and Chelsea Davis Guthrie (Joey); and her great grandchildren, Shelby Willis, Tyler Willis, Wesley Guthrie, Jaxon Guthrie, Ellie Davis, Noah Davis and Anderson Davis.
