Betty Deen Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Deen Johnson of Harkers Island, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Johnson Sr.; her children, Gina Johnson Lewis and Earl Johnson Jr.; and her grandsons, John Douglas Brooks and Brian Deen Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Donnetta Brooks (Bentley) of Harkers Island and Billy Chilton (Amy) of Otway; her grandchildren, Jordan Lewis (Reba) of Gloucester, Charlie Brooks of Raleigh, Johnna Brooks (Trixie) of Harkers Island, Matthew Chilton (Lauren) of Otway, Kyle Chilton of Otway and Cameron Guthrie (Shannon) of Beaufort; and her great grandchildren, Jared Lewis and Carly Guthrie.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
