He is survived by: his wife Effie "Jim" Gillikin; his children, Maruca Scruggs (Ron) of Salisbury, NC, Marie Wood Hartman (Richard) of Greenwood, IN and Algernon Carl Gillikin (Rhoda) of Harkers Island; his sister Leonda Miller of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Kesha, Josh, Mandy, Chelsea, Natalie and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Haylee, Makenna, Julia, Marli and Dyvine.
