He is survived by: his parents, Charles Collins and Phyllis Lyles Collins; his children, Cody Collins (Brianna), Amie Cardwell (Harley) and James Taylor (Bethanie Evans); his grandchildren, Victoria Collins, Jacob, Linden, Kolten Cardwell, James and Taylor of Tennessee; and his siblings, Loretta Williams (Ricky) and Charles Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
