He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tom and Lucy Faye Ledbetter Steelman; and his wife Carolyn Sarah Talley Steelman. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Steelman and Kelly Steelman; his grandchildren, Lane Steelman and Katelynn Steelman; and his siblings, Barbara Steelman Royall (Ricky) and Jimmy Steelman (Patti).
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (4921 Harmony Hwy, Hamptonville, NC 27020).
