He is survived by: his wife Della Rose Newman Byrd; his daughters, Tyanne Tabor (Ron) and Tracy Cook (David); his grandchildren, Stephanie Phillips (Jamie), Abby Jones and Dustin Sloop (Megan Payne); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Tyra, Jaylon Jones and Bryson Phillips; and his siblings, Lois Macy (Ronnie) and Robert Colbert.
