She was predeceased by: her husband James Richard Ferguson; and her siblings, Jessie Barnes, Monroe Barnes, Percy Barnes, Cicero Barnes, Mable Carlton and Macy Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Ferguson of Lenoir, Carol Neely, Effie Carlton, Janice Ferguson, Nora Ferguson, James Ferguson of North Wilkesboro, Jerry Ferguson of Moravian Falls, Billy Ferguson of Hamptonville and Willard Ferguson of Yadkinville; and her sister Maggie Barnes of Moravian Falls. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 4 great great grandchildren.
